Regional Lumber Company Displays Lumber History on Building with
Michael Pilato Murals

Picture Rocks, PA: Dwight Lewis Lumber (DLL) and Lewis Lumber Products (LLP) are proud
to announce that they recently installed four new murals on their building in Picture Rocks, PA.
In September, local artist Michael Pilato and co-painter Alida Frey, transformed LLP’s historic
building in Picture Rocks as they added to their collection of murals.

Pilato is known for his murals in Williamsport and State College, and has now added the Lewis
Lumber Products building to his collection. Dwight Lewis, was instrumental in bringing Michael
Pilato to Williamsport to feature his Murals downtown. To follow in their father’s footsteps, Marc
& Mel Lewis (Current co-owners of DLL and LLP) decided to commission Pilato to highlight the
local history of Picture Rocks on their store front.

“I’m so pleased that the Lewis’ decided to have these murals added to the building,” says Jason
Lutz – LLP Hardwood Store Manager, “not only are they adding to the appearance of the
building, they also make great conversation pieces in the store.”

There are four murals on the building, featuring an original settler of Picture Rocks (Amos
Burrows), a local woodworker (Louis Gansell), a famous artist from Picture Rocks (John Wesley
Little), and Dwight Lewis himself. Local residents have been intrigued by the arrival of the
murals.

"Wow, we have art in Picture Rocks!" says Hannah Miller, a seventh grade aspiring artist,
concerning the newly installed art work at Lewis Lumber Products. Hannah’s mother Jo Miller
continued, "To have local historical figures portrayed will hopefully produce a curiosity among
viewers to learn more about these people and their roles in shaping Picture Rocks. To have
one of them be an artist, well, for us, that's the icing on the cake!"

Dwight Lewis Lumber (DLL) was started in 1941 and Lewis Lumber Products (LLP) was formed
from that company in 1995. LLP manufactures fine hardwood and softwood mouldings,
paneling, flooring, decking and lumber. Both DLL and LLP have engaged in
green/environmentally friendly forestry practices since their inceptions. In 1996 they registered
with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC©). The FSC program is a chain of custody program
that independently and objectively evaluates a company's forestry practices. For more
